In order to maintain the highest quality of touch interaction, use the information below as a guideline to determine if your system is adequate to drive a PPI by Microsoft device. 

Minimum System Requirements

  • Windows 8 64-bit Operating System, or Windows 7 64-bit.
  • Dual Core Processor or better.
  •  4 GB of memory or greater. 
  • Video Card Output with HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort with proper cable to connect to DVI Digital input or Displayport on PPI Touch device.
  • Support native screen resolution of 1920x1080 @ 60 hertz (82”) or 120 hertz (55”) or 2560x1440 (27”). 
  • Open USB 2.0 for streaming touch information from Touch Panel to Host computer system.
  • USB port should be an open version 2.0 port, not shared via USB hub of any kind. 

Recommended System Requirements

  • Windows 8 64-bit Operating System.
  • Medium Speed Quad-Core Processor or better.
  • 12 to 16 GB of memory or greater if other application requirements exist.
  • PCI-Express x16 Graphics Card slot[s] based on Generation 2 or 3 technologies.
  • 3-D based Graphics card technology which equals NVIDIA Quadro 2000 or better.
  • Open USB 2.0 for streaming touch information from Touch Panel to Host computer system.
  • USB port should be an open port, not shared via USB hub of any kind.
